Start with the beds, since they take the longest and matter the most. Strip them, check the mattress protectors, and make them with fresh linens. Then move on to the bathrooms: fresh towels, clean glass, and no hair left on the floor.
In the kitchen, empty the dishwasher, wipe the fridge shelves, and clear anything the last guests left behind. Take out the trash everywhere, including the outdoor bins.
Sand is the Hamptons-specific part of the job. Check the entry, the outdoor shower, and under the beds, because it travels further than you'd expect.
